Those Good people at Electronic Explorations are hosting my section of January’s Riddim n Bruise show for Sub FM in standalone form. This is the version direct from myself free from shout-outs or extra SFX.
As i said, the mix was put together for Combat Recordings Riddim n Bruise show on SubFM and was aired early Jan 09. This mix is one of my favourites in a long while and was put together with the intention of justifying buying records that although i love rarely listen to or playout – at least i’m using them in a mix.

This release showcases 2 other sides to King Cannibal’s sound with lead track Virgo (ft new French collective Face-A-Face) going more for a party vibe. The B side, Murder Us (ft Jahcoozi) is tech-house piece inspired by my recent trip to Berlin to meet Sasha Perera and Emika. Viva la Berghain!

KING CANNIBAL LIMPS….
30 years old and i obviously have yet to master the staircase. Initially it seemed that i’d broke a bone in my foot, suffered torn ligaments and was looking at 6 weeks in plaster. I was worrying about cancelling any immediate gigs but now, luckily it seems the foot is fine, except the torn ligaments – so all planned gigs will be going ahead. Just don’t get pissed if you see my sitting down whilst playing out, and maybe hold a door open for me – using crutches looks easier then it is.
